KANYE WEST ANNOUNCES COLLABORATION WITH GAP
Kanye West announced an upcoming collaboration with the American clothing brand Gap. A long wish came true in Chicago Mc.
Ye is definitely on all fronts. In the middle of preparing the second work of his gospel album Jesus Is King,
Kanye West formalized a partnership with the brand Gap on Twitter this weekend.
According to New York Times information, the 43-year-old rapper and the San Francisco-based brand have signed a 10-year deal for a line called Yeezy Gap.
Available from 2021, the collection aims to be modern, elegant and, above all, at affordable prices for women, men and children.
To design it, Mowalola Ogunlesi, a 25-year-old Anglo-Nigerian, was appointed chief designer by Kanye himself.
The latter took another big hit by posting a handwritten message on a gigantic canvas presented at the Gap store on Chicago’s legendary Michigan Avenue.
Yeezy reveals that he frequented this store very often during his youth. Suffice it to say that this is a nice nod from Chicago, especially since he has never hidden his affection for the brand.
